# Quick Start Guide
|
|
|
|
## Prerequisites
|
|
|
|
1. Install Flutter: https://flutter.dev/docs/get-started/install
|
|
2. Install Android Studio or VS Code with Flutter extensions
|
|
3. Enable developer options on your Android device
|
|
|
|
## Setup Steps
|
|
|
|
1. **Navigate to the app directory:**
|
|
```bash
|
|
cd flutter_siab_app
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
2. **Get Flutter dependencies:**
|
|
```bash
|
|
flutter pub get
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
3. **Connect your Android device** (USB debugging enabled) or start an emulator
|
|
|
|
4. **Run the app:**
|
|
```bash
|
|
flutter run
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
## First Run
|
|
|
|
1. **Grant Permissions:**
|
|
- The app will request Bluetooth and Location permissions
|
|
- Grant all permissions (Location is required for BLE scanning on Android)
|
|
|
|
2. **Connect to SIAB Device:**
|
|
- Tap the blue floating action button (FAB) at bottom right
|
|
- App will scan for devices named "SIAB"
|
|
- Once found, it will connect automatically
|
|
- If no data arrives, it will try common start commands
|
|
|
|
3. **View Data:**
|
|
- Streamed data packets appear in real-time
|
|
- Tap any packet to see detailed information
|
|
- View statistics at the top
|
|
|
|

## Troubleshooting
|
|
|
|
### "No devices found"
|
|
- Ensure SIAB device is powered on
|
|
- Check device name matches "SIAB" (case-insensitive)
|
|
- Verify Bluetooth is enabled on both devices
|
|
|
|
### "Permission denied"
|
|
- Go to Android Settings > Apps > SIAB Bluetooth > Permissions
|
|
- Enable Location permission (required for BLE)
|
|
|
|
### "No data received"
|
|
- App automatically tries start commands
|
|
- Check device documentation for correct command
|
|
- Device may need specific initialization sequence
|
|
|
|
## Building APK
|
|
|
|
To build a release APK:
|
|
|
|
```bash
|
|
flutter build apk --release
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
APK location: `build/app/outputs/flutter-apk/app-release.apk`
|
